Before deleting
- Export any account data you need.
- Save files you need to keep.
- Request an eligible refund before deletion; deletion alone does not request one.
What deletion does
Permanent deletion cancels an active subscription, deletes the Stripe customer where allowed, revokes account and extension access, and removes attributable Astral data through the deletion workflow.
Limited retention
Stripe may retain transaction records required for accounting or law. A one-way deletion marker can remain for up to 30 days so delayed billing events cannot recreate the account. Shared deduplicated bytes needed by another owner may remain without your account identifier.
